Having made the big move up the Hume Highway there was an impression that Melbourne did the coffee scene so much better.

Well in my humble opinion it was not the culture shock I expected. Having been spoiled in Melbourne by the Michael Sergi and his crew from Zapper in South Melbourne I was not too sure how we would cope with the move to Emerald City.

Well let me tell you so far so good. We have settled north of Sydney in the suburb of Pymble and just down the street is a coffee roaster and barista named Dean. His business Sibonis supplies brilliant coffee either in beans or as the finished product.

For meetings we have been visiting Bills in Crown Street in Surry Hills, a little overpriced, probably due to the location but at least there is usually parking and so far the service and coffee has been exemplary.
